Vocal Physiotherapy
A lot of people have heard of ‘Vocal Massage’ – this goes multiple steps further
Have a look at how the whole of you influences your voice and get a more holistic plan to promote improvement in your vocal capabilities and maintenance of good vocal wellbeing.
Vocal Physio brings the principles of general physio to vocal care. We form part of the vocal care team which may otherwise include – vocal coaches, laryngologists, speech and language therapists, nutritionists and more
We’ll have a look at your presentation, history and consider the role of:
Lifestyle and demands
Physical activity
Breath awareness
Vocal hygiene
Strength, Muscular restriction, Mobility and Body awareness
And more on your voice – to treat you well, and equip you with a suitable treatment plan. And whats more – we’ll teach you the tools you need too.
THIS ONES NOT JUST FOR SINGERS – if you’re a professional voice user of any kind and you’re having a bit of voice trouble – you might want to check us out.
Pre assessment
screening for Projects
We like to try and be pro active – because if we can keep those niggles away – why wouldn’t we.
We work with individuals, or teams doing assessments to review:
Your background history of physical wellness or injury rehab
Your current strengths/weaknesses and physical knowledge
And upcoming physical demand
With this information we can establish your injury risk and advise you on a suitable physical activity programme, or steps to take to lessen your injury risk and generally promote improvement in your physical wellness.
To learn more about the current state of your team, save yourself overall medical expenses with high physical (or vocal) demand jobs; and ultimately – save yourself some stress, think ahead
Get in touch and we’ll see if we can personalise you an assessment that helps you understand how you keep yourself feeling good
Talks and workshops
Because sharing is caring
We offer educational talks (eg in universities or study settings) & personalised workshops and talks to cater to what you want to learn physio wise.
